Carlsbad is a winter marathon and half marathon unlike any other. From our ideal weather conditions to our spectacular coastal course, our award winning event will wow you. The Half Marathon Triple Crown is 39.3 miles of running paradise with three of the country's best and most scenic half marathons. The series kicks off each year in January with the Tri-City Medical Center Carlsbad Marathon and Half Marathon, continues with the La Jolla Half in April and finishes with the America's Finest City Half in August. All events sell out, so register early. Complete all three in the same calendar year and in addition to a huge sense of accomplishment, you'll earn a gorgeous Triple Crown medal (like the one shown above) in the finish line festival area immediately following the America's Finest City Half. You don't need to do anything other than register and finish all three in the same calendar year and you're in the series - it is that simple!
