With many exciting vendors, interactive displays, samples, and great bargains on apparel, equipment and more, the expo is an exciting event you won't want to miss. The expo is where participants come to pick up their bib number and race shirt and shop. All marathoners and half marathoners must attend the expo on either Friday or Saturday to claim their timing tag in addition to their bib number and race shirt. The expo is also open on race morning from 7 a.m. to noon so friends and family can shop while they wait for their loved ones to finish and participants can shop after their race.

Expo Location & Directions:
The expo is held in a huge 20,000-square-foot "big top" in the southwest corner of the Plaza Camino Real shopping center. Located just steps from the marathon and half marathon start/finish lines, this is the perfect venue for our large expo. Remember, this shopping experience is FREE and open to all, so bring your family and friends.
The expo is very popular and all 10,000 participants must attend to get their bib number, timing chip and race shirt before race day. The expo is also free and open to the public. Booths come with a table and chairs and with booth pricing starting at as low as $895, what are you waiting for -- save your spot today!

Virtual Goodie Bags!
As part of our ongoing effort to be an earth friendly event, we’ve replaced the traditional goodie bag with an online “virtual goodie bag". Our virtual goodie bag offers you the opportunity to post digital coupon offers, downloadable PDF’s, and hyperlinks to your company website - it’s entirely up to you. A link to the virtual goodie bag will be featured on the high-traffic Carlsbad Marathon website for at least three weeks prior to and three weeks following the January 19 event. In addition to being available on the event website, the virtual goodie bag will be emailed to all 10,000 full and half marathon participants, 3,000 Kids Marathon Mile participants and 2,000 race volunteers. In comparison to the traditional one touchpoint goodie bags, the virtual goodie bag offers far-greater exposure and more touchpoints. Also, the goodie bag captures statistical data which is great information to help measure the success of your placement in the bag. Plus, because you no longer need to produce the actual materials to be inserted in the traditional bag, the virtual goodie bag is more economical too.
