We've got a great entertainment lineup for you. From beginning to end, you'll be entertained, amused, inspired and strengthened by the talent of these people who have given up a Sunday morning and risen early to be with you.

Kesha Monette | Race Start Line
Kesha will once again set the stage and present the National Anthem for the half marathon start. She's sure to thrill the crowd on race morning.

Stillpoint | On Marron (in front of the Olive Garden Restaurant)
StillPoint -- Acoustic-Duo will be playing acoustically driven progressive folk/rock/indie music with fingerstyle acoustic guitarist/vocalist Scott Fitzgerald, and Barry Sinclair on fretless electric basses.

Syndicate | Jefferson at Marron
Strongly influenced by the indie dance-rock sound, Syndicate will be performing great tunes with catchy hooks and lots of energy.

Shotgun | Jefferson at Las Flores
Some engineers (Chris, Kent, Kevin, Tim) got together to pound out some metal from the 70's and 80's. Kent left for Iraq (enter Randy).  The music got heavier.  Shotgun will be playing the heavy classic rock of their roots, and some other varieties for the masses.

This amazing marching band will have you high steppin'!

The Flounders | Carlsbad Blvd. at Cypress
The Flounders - brother's Louie and Mike Shook will perform originals and fresh arrangements of covers from the 60's to now. They will bring heartfelt vocal harmonies that range between mellow to raucous with a tropical-accoustic-rock sound.

Named after the group's lead singer and an old friend to the marathon, Johnny C will be playing soft rock and jazz.

Semisi & Fula Bula  | Carlsbad Blvd. and Carlsbad Village Drive
Considered to be San Diego’s most exciting and entertaining band with South Pacific rhythms influence, Semisi & Fula Bula will be performing reggae, calypso, jazz, Latin hip-hop and even folk but whatever it is, they'll be a crowd pleaser.

Plan to shout out your song request as you pass D.J. John Marquez at Carlsbad Blvd and Chestnut.

Loss of Control  | Carlsbad Blvd. at Tamarack
This band will be delivering high-energy classic rock and roll. This is the 5th year they've performed along the race route and they are a real crowd pleaser playing hits from the 60's to the 90's and beyond.

This local San Diego band will be performing their signature rock, alternative and acoustic tunes.

Voted best local band in a U-T readers poll, this group of great guys will be performing their self-described sounds of fun, piano pop-rock.

Ramshackle |  Carlsbad Blvd. at Cannon (at Cannon Park)
Ramshackle will bring their music which is influenced by popular rock, pop and alternative artists of the last three decades. Their powerful, danceable rhythms will be just what you need at this point in the race.

This north county staple will be performing their country hits.

The Brothers Cooley | Palomar Airport Road at Hidden Valley
The Brothers Cooley channel the psychedelic vibes of the musical and spiritual pioneers of the mid 60's and 70's, offering a cool drink of water to all those stranded in today's musical desert. With roots based in blues and an overarching rock and roll influence, The Brothers Cooley are known for their muddy grooves and energetic live shows.

A long time favorite at the Carlsbad Marathon, these amazing drummers will take your mind off the race with their Island and Calypso sounds.

Breez'n | Carlsbad Blvd. at Breakwater
Breez’n is a fun, high energy band offering a variety of dance songs from jazz, R & B, rock, pop, swing and everything in between.

Misty and the Mobys will once again rock the Carlsbad Marathon. They will be bringing you the best rock from the 60s, 70s and 80s. Misty has unstoppable energy and loves to entertain and engage the crowd. Each musician has decades of experience that comes through with each performance.

This group will be playing some classic rock.

The Machinery | Carlsbad Blvd. at La Costa
This four-piece band consists of a guitarist, bassist, drummer and singer. These San Diego natives have been playing together for over 4 years. They'll be performing their hits on race day.

Jakob Martin and Friends | Finish Line Festival
This group of talented recording artists includes:
Jakob Martin - "Jakob Martin is Revolutionizing Acoustic Music." -JVibe Magazine
Jakob, 26, is a nationally acclaimed touring acoustic artist who has performed over 500 concerts across the United States. He is commonly compared with Billy Joel, Bob Dylan, and John Lennon. Jakob is a founding member of the Vibe Night Crew and has shared stages with the likes of Glen Phillips, Ari Hest, Tristan Prettyman, Blues Traveler, and Everclear.

Derek Evans - Derek Evans is a nationally acclaimed touring artist who has spent that past two years performing across the United States, sharing stages with the likes of Blues Traveler, Jason Mraz, Everclear, Ryan Cabrera,  and many others. He is often compared to Dave Matthews, David Gray, and Pete Yorn. Two of Derek's songs from his new album ,"Working Class Hero", will be featured in the upcoming movie "Shoots and Ladders."
